Health Reform Is Vital for All

The issue is not whether health care is an individual right or a moral imperative. Comprehensive reform is urgent and absolutely necessary because the physical and economic health of our nation is at stake.

Rising health care costs are squeezing American families, making essential care prohibitive, and costing businesses and the government billions and billions of dollars each year. The status quo is not an option. Change is a must.

We all need to work together (rather than point fingers of blame) to improve health care quality, rein in costs and extend health care access and coverage to all Americans.
